apple picking...

we went apple picking last month. always a fun time. and we had a groupon, which made it even better for our family of 5. Afty loved getting to ride a pony for the 1st time. the petting zoo was fun. the big kids liked the apple cannon. picking/eating apples was fun. and we all loved the family time. a great day.

 

 

fall break...

the big kids had fall break last week (hard to believe they've been in school 6 weeks already!). we don't go out of town during this break, but we had fun around town. the park, the fair (see previous post), the children's museum, & a sleepover for the big kids with MeMaw & PawPaw. a fun break! :)

a fall family tradition for us...the Cherokee Co fair! we always have a blast. & this year, Afty was big enough to ride a bunch of the rides (yay for a new ride company!). she LOVED them. she smiled so big the whole time...she was so cute that we got our picture in the paper, lol. F was tall enough for some rides without us (the starship and ring of fire). L got her face painted. & fun was had by all. :)

 

QT picnic...

we always love the QT picnic! it was at Stone Mt this year, but we stayed over where the QT stuff was set up. food, face painting, bounce houses, games, etc. the kids had a blast!

 





six flags...

can't believe i forgot to post these! the big kids earned free six flags tickets at school by reading a total of 6 hours in the spring. they were so excited to go! we left Afty with Grandma & Grandpa for a sleepover & had a blast! so happy to have adventure loving kids! :)
